The steamer and cargo were captured as pi’ize of war on the 18th day of July, 1863, and, haying been duly libelled and prosecuted as such in the District Court, on the 17th day of August following, they were both condemned as forfeited to the United States. Monition was duly published, but no one appeared as claimant, either for the steamer or eargo.
