OPINION OF THE COURT BY
PERRY, C. J.
This is an action at law for the recovery of damages resulting from the alleged negligence of the defendants’ servant. The jury rendered a verdict for the plaintiff on September 7, 1927. On September 14, the defendants applied to the trial judge for an extension of the time allowed by the statute for the presentation of a bill of exceptions and submitted a form of order in writing for his signature.
