On May 15, 2009, plaintiffs Anne Kelly and Christine Lofaro (collectively “plaintiffs”) brought this action against defendants Huntington Union Free School District and Huntington Union Free School District Board of Education (collectively “defendants”) pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (“Section 1983”) alleging that defendants violated plaintiffs’ rights under the First Amendment.
