MEMORANDUM
MOTZ, District Judge.
This case arises out of the denial of Barbara Hardester’s (hereinafter plaintiff) health insurance claim for coverage of medical expenses following the diagnosis and treatment of her breast cancer. Plaintiffs insurers, Lincoln National Life Insurance Company and its subsidiary Employers Health Insurance Company (hereinafter defendants), refused to pay plaintiffs claim, asserting that the breast cancer was a pre-existing condition and was thus excluded from coverage under plaintiffs policy.
