—Judgment, Supreme Court, Bronx County (Steven Barrett, J.), rendered July 14, 1997, convicting defendant, after a jury trial, of murder in the second degree, and sentencing him to a term of 25 years to life, unanimously affirmed.
The court properly refused to submit manslaughter in the first degree as a lesser included offense of second-degree murder since there was no reasonable view of the evidence, viewed most favorably to defendant, that he merely intended to inflict serious physical injury but not to cause death.
