SENTENCING MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

EISELE, Chief Judge.

This Memorandum and Order supplements and elaborates upon the rulings and opinions announced by the Court during the sentencing hearing conducted November 20, 1990. On July 11, 1990, defendant pled guilty to a single count of a four count indictment. Count II, to which he pled, charged him with making false statements during the purchase of a firearm while released on a personal recognizance bond in connection with another federal offense. 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(a)(6), 3147.
