These are actions of tort, one against Lincoln Rides, Inc., the owner and operator of an amusement device, and the other against Lincoln Park Amusement Co., the owner and operator of an amusement park in which that device was located. At the conclusion of the evidence the judge directed a verdict for each defendant, subject to the exception of the plaintiff. There was no evidence that the Lincoln Park Amusement Co. was in any way responsible for the injury to the plaintiff, and the direction of a verdict in favor of that company was right.
