Suit on a promissory note, filed March 24, 1920. There was judgment for the plaintiff on the pleadings on October 11, 1920, for $69,761.25, the amount of said note (less a voluntary credit of $2,278.20), against defendants Effie M. Ruth and George Begley. The suit was also instituted against Edith Ruth Begley, but no judgment was rendered against her, because she was not served with process and did not appear in the case. The record shows that Edith Ruth Begley was the wife of George Begley, Jr., and defendant Effie M. Ruth was her mother, and defendant George Begley was the father of said…
