Alexander Gil-Cruz was convicted of importing and possessing a controlled substance with intent to distribute in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841 and 960. He claims that the district court erred by admitting photographs found on his 'cellphone at the time of arrest that showed an altar he had built. He also contends that there was insufficient evidence to show that he had knowledge of the type and quantity of drugs he was carrying.
