ALLEN, J. —

This is an original proceeding in this court, in prohibition, the object thereof being to prohibit the respondent, lion. Gustavus A. 'Wurdeman, Judge of Division No. 2 of the circuit court of the county of St. Louis, from proceeding further with a certain matter pending before said court, upon the ground that respondent, as such judge, is therein undertaking to act in excess of his jurisdiction in the premises.
