KILKENNY, District Judge.
Libelant, a longshoreman employed by a master stevedore, herein called Jones, received personal injuries in an accident while performing services for the stevedore aboard the vessel M. Y. CAPTAN-TONIS. The vessel was berthed at Swan Island, Portland, Oregon, on navigable waters of the United States, the services being performed by the stevedore pursuant to contract with the respondent, the owner and claimant of the vessel.
