This actiop is to recover damages for personal injuries sustained by the plaintiff about 9 o’clock in the forenoon of February 14, 1897, while on her way to church, traveling north on the sidewalk on the west side of Hanover street in Milwaukee, and while crossing a public alley, when she slipped and fell, and broke her left wrist, and otherwise injured herself.
