Appellant North Star Mutual Insurance Company (North Star) challenges the district court’s grant of summary judgment dismissing its contribution claim against respondents Secura Insurance Company (Secura) and Midwest Family Mutual Insurance Company (Midwest Family), arguing that because the policies of respondents were closer to the risk, it may recoup from them part of the money North Star paid to settle the injured party’s claim.
