OPINION

DROWOTA, Justice.

In this personal injury case, the plaintiffs, Susie and Kenneth Henley, appeal from the Court of Appeals’ affirmance of the summary judgment granted in favor of the defendant, Lewis Cobb, on statute of limitations grounds. This case presents one issue for our determination: whether the plaintiffs are entitled to the benefit of the “saving statute,” Tenn.Code Ann. § 28-1-105, so as to avoid the statute of limitations bar under the facts of this case.
