I. Nature of Proceeding
The defendant was indicted December 20, 1988, on charges of conspiracy to possess, and possession, with intent to distribute, cocaine. On December 29, 1988, he moved to continue the hearing on the Government’s motion for detention. The United States Magistrate found good cause for continuing the detention hearing in excess of five days, and hearing was held on January 10, 1989.
