This litigation involves claims and cross-claims for monies owed for work and a mortgage loan on the construction of a mobile- home park owned by defendant Mt. Vernon Mobile Estates, Inc., which, in turn, is owned and controlled by defendants Vernon and Alice Fitch. For brevity, these parties will be referred to collectively as defendants or Mt. Vernon.
