Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Queens County (Posner, J.), rendered August 2, 1985, convicting him of manslaughter in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

*523Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

The defendant’s contention that the trial court failed to give a proper charge on the issue of identification is not preserved for appellate review since no exception was taken to the charge on that ground (People v Monroig, 111 AD2d 935, lv denied 66 NY2d 921).
