Defendant insured plaintiff from loss of his Elgin touring car by fire. The insurance was placed through the Detroit Insurance Agency. The car was destroyed by fire May 26,-1921. On the policy was the ’phone number plaintiff was instructed to call in case of loss or- damage. Plaintiff called this number, advised them of the loss, and soon thereafter received a visit from a Mr. Mason with reference to the insurance.
