Brazoria County Sheriffs Office Deputy Aaron Kindred appeals the district court’s denial of qualified immunity in this case involving the roadside body cavity searches of two women during a traffic stop. This case arises from an investigatory traffic stop in 2012. Three officers were involved in the incident. The two Department of Public Safety (“DPS”) officers, Nathaniel Turner and Amanda Bui, have reached settlement agreements with Plaintiffs Brandy Hamilton and Alexandria Randle.
