This was a proceeding in bastardy, commenced before Emery Powell, a justice of the peace, and an examination was had and duly certified to the Hamilton Circuit Court-Prior to the filing of the complaint in this case, the relatrix filed her complaint before J. C. Stephenson, another justice of the peace, charging the appellant with being the father of the same bastard child, and the justice issued a warrant for the arrest of the appellant and delivered the same to a constable.
