The question involved in this case was whether a gambling venture on the future price of meat, or a real sale of meat to be actually delivered in the future, was contemplated by the following- contract:
“W. S. Forbes & Co. have sold to M. W. & J. J. Pearson, Bennettsville, S. C., the following- product: 25,000 pounds 55-60 Ave. Ribs, at 9.55, loose, delivered Bennettsville. Shipment buyer’s option.
