These appeals are from convictions of disturbing a religious congregation in violation of D.C.Code 1967, § 22-1114. 1

Anticipating from prior publicity the attendance at Mass of members of the Center for Christian Renewal, and being aware of allegedly disruptive actions previously taken by that group at St. Matthew’s Cathedral, the pastor of the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, a Roman Catholic church in this city, with the advice of the parish council prepared a statement to be read at Mass should members of the group appear.
