WALKER, Circuit Judge.
The plaintiff in error was the surety in a bond or recognizance executed November 22, 1921, with condition that the principal, James A. Sloan, alias Frank Douglas, shall personally appear before the District Court of the United States for the Northern Division of the Northern District of Georgia on the 28th day of November, 1921, and from time to time thereafter as required by order of said court, to answer a described criminal charge made against him.
