The defendant, Brandon Montrell Bellamy, appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a jury trial, of two counts of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a), assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-59 (a) (5), criminal possession of a pistol in violation of General Statutes § 53a-217c (a) and carrying a pistol without a permit in violation of General Statutes § 29-35.
