The tax-collector of Hall county issued executions against the Georgia Female Seminary for taxes assessed against that institution for the years 189,5 and 1896, and the executions were levied by the sheriff of Hall county upon the property of that institution; whereupon the plaintiffs, alleging themselves to be the owners of the property, filed a petition to enjoin the tax-collector and the sheriff from enforcing the collection of such executions, on the ground that the property, under the constitution and laws of this State, was exempt from taxation.
