MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER

Introduction
This is a product liability action involving a single vehicle tractor-trailer accident which occurred on May 6, 2006 on southbound Interstate 75 in Toledo, Ohio. Plaintiffs Robert and Barbara Rose allege the steering on their vehicle “gave out” and caused the accident.
Defendant TRW Automotive (TRW) filed a Motion for Summary Judgment (Doc. No. 96). TRW claims that Plaintiffs’ expert, Philip Smith, is not qualified to testify on issues of product defect and causation and further that Smith’s opinions are unsupported by the…
