The City of Providence and the Providence Redevelopment Agency ("PRA"), together with all of the defendants, move this Court to dismiss the within action. They claim that plaintiff Tidewater Realty, LLC's complaint, alleging tortious interference with a contract to purchase real estate, should be dismissed because the terms of the contract and the relevant statute, G.L. 1956 §37-7-3, explicitly recognize the City's right to prevent the contemplated performance of that contract.
