There was a collision between a truck and a passenger train operated by the Fort Worth & Denver City Railway Company at a public street crossing in the town of Iowa Park. At the time of the collision, Joe Bailey Dean was driving the truck, in which was loaded some household furniture belonging to Mrs. L. V. Thomas, and riding therein with him were Mrs. L. V. Thomas and her minor child, J. D. Greathouse, and her mothér, Mrs. Lizzie Greathouse.
