DALTON, Chief Judge.
A tiny flake of a metallic substance the size of a mouse’s toenail, when activated by infrared waves, sets into motion a chain of events which form a background for this important litigation.
An age-old problem confronting railroads everywhere has been the ever recurring “hot journal box” which house the brass bearing that fits over the top of the railway car axle. The method used to lubricate the axle is to use waste, saturated with oil, placed in the journal' box of each wheel.
