Helmuth and the City National Bank of Eastland, Tex., to recover the possession of certain articles of jewelry of the alleged value of $3,000, which the plaintiff charged belonged to her, and which she alleged had been pledged without her knowledge and consent, and without any authority from her, by the defendant Helmuth to the bank as security for a loan made by it to him, and for which he executed his note for the sum of $945.
