GIBSON, Circuit Judge.

Defendant Stephan Parsons, a Jehovah’s Witness, was convicted in a jury trial of failure to report for civilian work as' ordered by his draft board. The order was based on a 1-0 classification as a conscientious objector. Defendant was sentenced under the Federal Youth Corrections Act, 18 U.S.C. §§ 5010(a) and 5023(a), and was placed on probation for a period of 2% years on the condition that he report for civilian work at a public hospital to be selected by the probation officer and be employed there for a period not to exceed two years.
