In an action to foreclose a mortgage, the defendant Jean Joseph appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Steinhardt, J.), dated August 4, 2014, as granted those branches of the plaintiffs motion which were for summary judgment on the complaint insofar as asserted against him, to strike his answer, and for an order of reference.
