OPINION

QUIST, District Judge.

Plaintiffs Rodney and Cathy Bracy filed this securities fraud action seeking to recover losses they allegedly sustained as a result of certain investments. This matter is presently before the Court on plaintiffs’ motion for summary judgment on Counts I and II of their First Amended Complaint. The Court heard oral arguments on plaintiffs’ motion on April 27, 1995. At the hearing, the Court questioned whether the amount in controversy in this case exceeded $50,000 as required by 28 U.S.C. § 1332.
