The Deauville Corporations and their principals, Thomas J. Gordon and Harry R. Jones, (collectively “Deauville”) brought suit for damages and injunctive relief against Montgomery Ward & Company and its real estate subsidiary, Montgomery Ward Properties Corporation (collectively “Ward” unless otherwise indicated) and against Federated Department Stores, Inc., and Federated Stores Realty, Inc.
