Plaintiff, Juliee L. Bates, is a former employee of Roche Diagnostics Corporation (“Roche”). Following Roche’s decision to terminate her employment in February 2011, Plaintiff filed the present case against Roche, alleging that Roche discriminated against her on the basis of her gender, under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq.
