*247 ¶ 1 Defendant Abdourhman Gueye was convicted of counterfeit trademark violation following a bench trial and was sentenced to one year of probation. On appeal, defendant contends that the State failed to prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt of violating the Counterfeit Trademark Act (Act) ( 765 ILCS 1040/2 (West 2014) ), where he lacked the intent to deceive. Defendant argues in the alternative that the Act, which criminalizes knowingly selling a product with a counterfeit mark, violates state and federal constitutional guarantees of due process. For the following reasons, we affirm.
