This is a writ of error to a judgment of the circuit court of Putnam county entered May 3, 1880, affirming a judgment of the county court of said county. The action was assumpsit brought in said county court, September 3, 1877, by the plaintiffs, Yillie Black & Co., against the defendant, John C. Thomas, to recover eight hundred dollars for money advanced by the plaintiffs to the defendant between. October 12, 1876, and April 21, 1877.
