POLITZ, Circuit Judge:

Pamela Ann Harris, on behalf of her minor daughter Dominisha S. Harris, appeals the judgment affirming a final decision of the Commissioner of the Social Security Administration. For the reasons assigned, we affirm.

BACKGROUND

In October 1991, Harris filed, on behalf of Dominisha, an application for supplemental security income (“SSI”) benefits under Title XVI of the Social Security Act, asserting that Dominisha was disabled as a result of hyperactivity, poor vision, herpes simplex, and asthma.
