This action was brought by appellant, who alleges in his complaint that he is the treasurer of Corson county, but does not allege that he brings the action on behalf of the county, or for its benefit. The complaint alleges that during the years 1920, 1921, and .1922, a copartnership doing business under the name of C. O. D. Cattle Company owned certain personal property in Corson county, consisting largely of cattle.
