This case involves appeals from the district court’s affirmance of various rulings of the bankruptcy court. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm in part and vacate and remand in part.
I. FACTUAL AND PROCEDURAL BACKGROUND.
On July 24, 1981, appellee Fidelity National Bank filed a joint involuntary chapter 7 bankruptcy petition against the appellants, G. Harold and Shirley G. King. See 11 U.S.C. § 303(b)(2) (Supp. V 1981).
