Plaintiff commenced an action for injuries sustained in an April 6, 1978, automobile accident. The case came on for trial before a jury in April, 1984. At the close of all medical proofs on the threshold issue of serious impairment of body function, defendant moved for a directed verdict. The trial court granted the motion, concluding that plaintiff had not met the threshold. Plaintiff appeals as of right.
