FRIEDMAN, Circuit Judge.
This is an appeal from a decision of the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (Board), dismissing a contractor’s claim for additional compensation on the ground that an oral agreement to settle the claims constituted an accord and satisfaction. Mil-Spec Contractors, Inc., 87-1 B.C.A. (CCH) 1119,391 (Sept. 23, 1986). We hold that there was not a valid accord and satisfaction, and therefore reverse and remand.
