I. INTRODUCTION
Michelle Wilson (“Wilson”) brings this claim as the intended beneficiary of two life insurance policies between her late husband Kenneth Wilson (“Kenneth”) and defendant Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company (“Northwestern Mutual”), 2 seeking the proceeds of those policies. She alleges that Northwestern Mutual breached the policies by not paying proceeds, misled and deceived her, violated New York’s General Obligation and State Insurance Laws, and was negligent.
