OPINION OF THE COURT

NIGRO, Justice.

This is an appeal from the order of the Superior Court reversing the trial court’s suppression of the drugs found on appellant’s person during the course of an investigatory stop made pursuant to Terry v. Ohio, 392 U.S. 1, 88 S.Ct. 1868, 20 L.Ed.2d 889 (1968). The issue presented for our review concerns whether the police officer who discovered the drugs on appellant’s person during the course of the investigatory stop had a reasonable suspicion that appellant was currently engaged in criminal activity at the time that he conducted the investigatory stop.…
