This is an application for a writ of habeas corpus. On March 19, 1937, in the district court of Ward county, the petitioner, Clifford Chambers, was found guilty of the crime of engaging in the liquor traffic as a second offense. On March 26, 1937, he was sentenced to imprisonment in the state penitentiary, for a term of two years. Upon appeal to this court, the judgment of conviction was affirmed. Thereafter the petitioner appealed the case to the Supreme Court of the United States. On March 6, 1939, the Supreme. Court of the United States “ordered and adjudged” that the appeal be dismissed…
