KELLEY, Judge.

Sandra Lee Burns (claimant), widow of Michael J. Burns (decedent), appeals an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board which affirmed the referee’s decision *82dismissing claimant’s fatal claim petition pursuant to section 301(a) of The Pennsylvania Workmen’s Compensation Act.1 We affirm.

Decedent was employed by State Pipe Services, Inc. (employer) as a foreman. Decedent was a salaried employee with the use of a company truck and no fixed place of employment. He worked at various job sites until the job was completed. As a result, decedent would have to stay in motels for…
