Byron Stewart appeals from a final order entered in the District Court 1 for the Southern District of Iowa denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. Stewart v. Nix, Civil No. 87-307-E (S.D.Iowa July 31, 1991) (order). For reversal, Stewart argues that the district court erred in finding that the state trial proceeding did not violate his constitutional rights (1) to speedy trial or (2) to be present during the court’s response to a jury question.
