CUSHMAN, District Judge.

This is a suit for personal injuries alleged to have been suffered by the plaintiff at Tacoma, while employed receiving and storing cargo aboard a ship; that is, a stevedore. The plaintiff is a citizen of Washington, while the defendant is a California corporation and interstate water carrier between the ports of Puget Soun(l and those in other states and territories of the United States.
