The only question involved in this case is the statute of limitations.

Plaintiff filed his petition in the district court seeking to foreclose a tax lien on the land described therein, and alleged in .substance that on the 5th day of February, 1878, he purchased the same for the taxes then delinquent, and that a certificate of purchase was executed to him by the county treasurer.
