ORDER

DOWD, District Judge.

The Court has before it the motion of plaintiffs’ counsel for an award of attorney’s fees following plaintiffs’ successful prosecution of this § 1983 action.

Plaintiffs’ counsel first sought an award of attorneys’ fees in October, 1979. By an order dated February 22, 1980, Judge Con-tie deferred decision on that fee application pending the resolution of the appeal of the case on the merits.
